Electricity and Gas Pricing and Contracts

Electricity prices are skyrocketing, with IPART (Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal) requesting a 21% increase in regulated prices starting 1 July 2009. With aging network supply authority resources requiring significant investment to maintain and upgrade, there is likely to be increased upward pressure on prices for at least the next 5-10 years.
